This is a great lightweight scarf with a pocket for each hand at the ends! It’s smooshy, even though it’s made on size US 7 knitting needles with Berroco’s Ultra Wool Fine.

The pockets are in opposite colors on each end of scarf. They are knitted in and folded up, then seamed closed on the sides with yarn in matching color and overhand stitches.

The wool is fluffy enough to fill the spaces nicely and durable to hold up through a cold winter. Use two colors of good contrast. The colorwork on the center of the scarf is striped garter stitch…easy peasy. Then on both ends are running rabbits in intarsia or duplicate stitch. The rabbits are worked from an easy to read chart with full directions. Appropriate for children through adults.
