RUPERT REINDEER TOY KNITTING PATTERNS
Rupert reindeer is a cuddly knitted toy with a big a grey nose, but you could knit the nose in red to make a Rudolph reindeer.
THE PATTERN INCLUDES: Row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making the reindeer, photos, a list of abbreviations and explanation of some techniques, a materials list and recommended yarns. The pattern is 7 pages and written in English.
TECHNIQUES: All pieces are knitted flat on straight knitting needles. You will need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, and sew seams.
YARN, NEEDLES AND NOTIONS INCLUDE:
- A pair of straight 3.5mm knitting needles (US 4)
- DK yarn (double knitting or light worsted weight) in dark brown, light brown and dark grey; less than 100g each
- Toy filling
- Small buttons for eyes (or you can use beads or toy safety eyes)
