Russian Sky, my fifth design here on ravelry is inspired by the Siberian landscape.
It is knitted top-down, the body features snow-crystals in two different sizes, “trees” at the wings and a “skyline” with a church in the center, which blends into the border with an abundance of snow-crystals.
A separate file with a photo-tutorial is included showing a recipe for the optional centered picot-bind-off as used in both samples knit by me.
Beading is optional, the spots for placement of beads are only indicated in the charts, not in the written instructions.

this pattern would never have seen the light of day, thanks to you all! They considered this pattern intermediate.

I just released a more basic pattern, which is available as a free download. All I ask in return, if you are downloading that other pattern, please favorite it or one (or all) of my other patterns or add it to your queue.
I look forward to your projects, there will be a KAL in the near future in my group, I do not yet know the details, but it might be a good idea to join and scan my group regularly, just in case….
