This is a PDF pattern that will guide you through making an amigurumi mouse plushie like the ones pictured. You’ll learn to make a magic ring in the process. The pattern includes advice on resizing the product, and includes a template and guidelines on creating the satchel (although the main focus of the pattern is the mouse itself).

Sacha is an adorable stuffed mouse, and makes a great project for an enthusiastic beginner. The pattern is suitable for beginners, as well as more advanced crocheters. It assumes you know how to chain and single crochet already.

The pattern uses American crochet notation, but includes brief advice on the conversion to UK notation. It also includes advice on selecting colours and using different yarns.

You’ll require several different coloured yarns (a colour for the main body section, a contrasting colour for eyes and nose, a paler colour for ears and tail, and a colour of your choice for the scarf), a 4.00mm crochet hook and an embroidery needle.

Note that this pattern uses photographs of a mouse made in double knitting yarn so that the steps taken are clear - it’s hard to see what’s being done with fluffy yarn. However, it is recommended that you use more “interesting” yarn when creating this (be adventurous!).
