The Sailor Blouse knits up quickly in stockinette stitch, bottom-up in the round. A cute contrasting trim worked in seed stitch frames the neckline in a soft curve.
The front v-neck has been combined with a square neckline in the back to echo the look of sailor costumes from the past while raw stockinette hems add a bit of contemporary naughtiness. In cotton it‘s a perfect top for a summer adventure. Short cap sleeves will even protect your sholders from sunburn. Worked in wool it will layer nicely over long-sleeved tops on cold days.

Work this fitted blouse in your size for a loose, airy fit (5cm/2“ positive ease) or one size smaller for a sexy fitting top. The blouse features vertical bust darts and at bust level a bit more room in the front than in the back.

Sizes: The pattern covers 10 sizes ranging from 81cm/32“ to 127cm/50“ bust circumference, bust dart instructions are included.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate. This tee is knit in the round on circular needles as well as flat.

Needles: 3mm (US-size 2.5) and 4mm (US-size 6) circular needles.

Yarn: For the body approx. 4(5,5,5,5,6,6,6,7,7) balls Golf by Lang Yarns, 100% Cotton, 125m(137yds)/50g.
For the trim: approx. 1 ball Catania by Schachenmayr Nomotta, 100% Cotton, 125m(137yds)/50g.
