With its geometrical structure and surprising colors, this shawl is a tribute to the great Yves Saint Laurent, who was the first to dare the bold association of bright pink and orange, considered bad taste up to then.

2 skeins of worsted weight yarn should be enough to make SaintL, but the pattern can be easily adapted for larger versions.

Although not challenging, it’s a fun knit thanks to the alternation of colors and stitch patterns.

This shawl is worked from the top down, with alternating sections of garter ridge stitch and mesh.

Finished dimensions:
57,75“/147 cm wingspan ; 29,5 “/75 cm height at center spine after wet-blocking

A lot of care has gone into the pattern layout but a second Pdf is provided in case you’d rather print instructions without pictures.
