A simple pinafore made from two yarns. The skirt section is worked in Garter stitch using Rare Comfort Kid Mohair and the Rib waistband and Garter stitch shoulder straps are worked in a contrast of Classic DK Wool. Suitable for a beginner knitter.

16 sts and 27 rows measured over 10cm (approx. 4 in) of Garter Stitch, using 5.00mm needles and Rare Comfort Kid Mohair yarn.
Wool rib band;
28.5 sts and 30 rows measured over 10cm (approx. 4 in) of 1 x 1 Rib Pattern using 3.75mm needles and Classic DK Wool yarn.
Wool Shoulder straps;
Note: this tension is taken over only 5cm since the shoulder straps should measure 5cm in width with 10sts cast on; 10sts and 22 rows measured over 5cm (approx. 2 in) Garter Stitch using 3.25mm needles and Classic DK Wool yarn.
