A simple tank top pattern, featuring a single cable pattern and cute pocket. Inspired by the Martha cardigan, this tank top was made for my friend Sally, who wanted a chunky tank top that flattered her petite but curvy frame. Most styles made her look bulky, I set about to design something that would skim but not cling to her frame and would not feel bulky.

The result is some discreet shaping on the waist nipping it in at just the right place.

This design is suitable for a beginner looking for a next step project, that will knit up quickly on a 6mm needle.

I used 4 balls of Brushed fleece to make the small size for Sally and had about half a ball left. THe medium will take 4 balls to make as well and large just 5 balls of this lovely light but lofty yarn.
