A mosaic stitch pattern paired with a thin tape yarn makes a clean modern fabric. The light goes through the stitches, and the tape yarn creates great texture with the mosaic pattern.

Sankaku can be worn like a cowl or poncho and spreading the slit to 180 degrees, allows you to wear it in many different ways.

This cowl is simple and fun to make. It is worked from the bottom up. A mosaic pattern is easier to work than it looks. You use only knit stitches and slipped stitches to create the color work on the mosaic pattern. The rest of the cowl is worked in stockinette, and there is no seaming.
