This fun pattern is a cross between a shawl and a scarf. Designed as a stash buster, this pattern can be worked using only 2 colors. Beading is optional.

Various sock- or fingering-weight scraps, 3- and 4-ply

Knit Picks Palette in Masala 75g or 347yds / 317m
Various fingering weight yarns 74g or 344yds / 314m

Note:
The contrast colors are random and include such colors as gray, pink, red, blue, orange, green, gold, light brown, black, and variegated. As long as the colors used have a nice range from light to dark they will all work out well in the end.

Needles:
US 5 (3.75mm) circular, 32” (80cm) or longer
Adjust needle size as needed to obtain gauge.
US F (3.75mm) crochet hook (optional)

Gauge:
20 sts and 48 rows = 4” (10cm) in garter stitch

Supplies:
Yarn needle, blocking wires (optional), rustproof pins for blocking
Beads are optional
80 assorted beads approximately .25 - .375” / .635 - .952cm in diameter for the body of the shawl
60 additional, large eye, beads for fringe beading

1 tiny crochet hook for placing beads or stiff dental floss
