Sea Garden is a perfect wrap to wear year-round as a splash of color, and light enough to wear in summer without being too warm. Cables and yarn overs combine to create a wrap that looks like the movement of light through water.

Sea Garden is a simple cable and yarn-over shawl pattern with a 10-row repeat. Directions are written out line by line, with options provided at the end for a drop-stitch version rather than double yarn overs, if you prefer.

Materials used:

• 200g fingering weight yarn (870.5 yards) provides enough for swatch and shawl. Any fingering weight yarn will work with this project. It’s a great use for yarns that pool during knitting!
• US Size 4 needles (3.5mm), 24” circular or longer recommended
• For finishing, blocking wires are strongly suggested, pins, tapestry needle

Gauge:
Swatch as indicated in pattern should be approximately 11.5”x4.5” after blocking.

Final Size:
Block to approximately 22” x 76.“ If you’d like to change the width you can add/remove multiples of 14 stitches. To increase in length, add additional pattern repeats.
