These little fingerless mitts are a quick knit, using just two shades of Knit Picks Palette wool yarn. Sample shown in Finnley Heather (main colour) and Brass Heather (contrast colour).

The mitts are interchangeable for each hand, and sized to fit a small/medium woman’s hands, easily stretching from 7” - 7.5” around (18cm - 19cm) with slight negative ease.
Length: 7.5” (19cm).

Worked from the cuff upwards in the round, the pattern is suitable for knitters who are comfortable working stranded colourwork in the round and reading charts. The pattern has written instructions and a chart for the fair isle motifs.

Yarn: Knit Picks Palette wool yarn in two shades, approximately 40g for main colour and 10g for contrast colour.

Alternatively, use other fingering-weight yarns suitable for stranded colour work, such as Jamieson’s Shetland Spindrift, Jamieson and Smith 2ply Jumper Weight, JC Rennie Supersoft Lambswool or Unique Shetland,

Needles: circular or double pointed needles for knitting small circumferences in the round
2.75mm (US2) and 3mm (US2.5)

Notions: stitch markers, tapestry needle, waste yarn.
