A very cute pair of top down, stranded color work, ankle length socks that use two different sea turtle patterns. A small turtle pattern for the ankle and a large turtle pattern on the top of the foot. Both patterns are charted.

The pattern contains two sizes that can be knit at many different gauges, a size/gauge chart is provided. The directions for the heel and length of the sock are given in inches to accommodate varying row gauges.

This pattern would be great for a knitter looking to try stranded color work for the first time, but it would help to have a good idea of sock construction.

The pattern is written to be knit using double pointed needles.

Shown sock uses Claudia Handpainted Fingering, colors Teal 1(2) balls and Jungle 1 ball.
