This ribbed scarf is a quick knit that can be completed in a weekend. It’s nice and warm, and it being quick to knit, it also makes a great gift. This is a relatively basic pattern but does require both knitting and pearling. It’s a thin scarf about four and a half feet long. The scarf is worked with US size 8 needles and requires 156 yards of DK weight yarn. Variations in yarn weight may change yardage, can produce nice effects.
