Grab one skein of beautifully variegated yarn and one neutral skein and let Secrets and Storms paint stripes and pops of colour across your neutral canvas. The result will be a stunning combination that makes your colourful yarn sing without overpowering the look.

This cowl is knitted flat on the bias and then sewn together at the back. It can be made in two sizes, small for a snug adult fit or perfect for a teen, and large a generous cowl for adults.

The Cowl is mostly worked in garter st with simple increases and decreases to shape the work. The pattern is created using stripes of colour and the aster stitch to create little pops of colour.

This is a written pattern with detailed instructions on how to do the aster stitch.
