Shading is a huge, but light-weight triangular wrap. The airy fabric shows the beauty of colors by combining four related shades of color a pop of colour.

Yarn
Shading uses 4 full skeins of ITO Sensai (1 skein = 20 grams/0.71 ounces = 262 yards/240 meters) - in four different, but similar shades and a small amount of a 5th skein - about 1100 yards altogether.

Any lace-weight yarn with mohair content (e.g. Shibui Silk Cloud, Artyarns Silk Mohair, Habu Textiles A-32, 1/12 Silk Mohair and many others) will work.
Note: If substituting yarn please take into account that yardages may vary!

Size
The pattern creates a rather huge shawl. Size can be adjusted easily by using less yarn (but make sure to use the same amount of yarn for colors A, B, C, and D.)
