Shawl Collar Embrace, the third in a series of Embraceable vests, is warm, cozy and stylish. As with the first two, it is knit sideways using a bulky weight yarn and has short row shaping above and below the waist. Seed stitch takes center stage for the waist and shawl collar, it’s texture adding interest to the simple stockinette stitch body. Crocheted loops make sure your favorite buttons are shown off to their best advantage.

Pattern is suitable for an advanced beginner and includes detailed instructions for each half of the vest and instructions or web links for each technique.

Finished Size: Small (36”), Medium (40”), Large (46”), includes 1” of ease; Within reason, sizes can increase in 1” increments with additional width added to your own specifications.

Notes: Vest is worked sideways. You will knit the left half of the vest and then the right half, joining them with Kitchener stitch in the center back.
