Knit up a cute and cuddly Sheep Cushion for your sofa. The sheep’s fleecy body is knitted in a bouclé yarn to make it extra cuddly. Designed by Amanda Berry @fluffandfuzz, the sheep are knitted on single pointed needles (not in the round).

NEEDLES
A pair each of 4.5mm and 5.5mm single pointed knitting needles (US 7 & 9)

RECOMMENDED YARN
The body is knitted in 50g of Beige chunky bouclé yarn (bulky/12 ply) and the head and legs in 50g of Brown aran weight yarn (fisherman/worsted/10 ply). A fleecy bouclé faux fur fancy yarn such as Sirdar Snuggly Snowflake Chunky, and a 100% wool aran yarn such as Drops Alaska are recommended for this pattern.

Tapestry needle, toy filling, buttons and felt fabric for eyes.

One size only - 29cm wide (including the tail) x 25cm tall (including the legs).

TECHNIQUES
For confident beginners and above, other techniques used include casting on and off, knits, purls, increases and decreases, and seaming to finish.
