Introducing my Shellby the Snail knitting pattern. He would come in handy as a pincushion, or you could knit a group of snails and hide them in the garden for a treasure hunt!

PATTERN INFO:

• Shellby is 7 cm tall and 10 cm long.
• The pattern is 3 pages and written in English.
• All pieces are knitted flat (back and forth) on a pair of straight single-pointed knitting needles.
• You will also need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work a kfb increase and a k2tog decrease, and sew seams.

MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED:

• A pair of straight 3.5 mm (US 4) single-pointed knitting needles
• Double knitting yarns (DK or light worsted weight)
• Buttons to decorate
• Toy filling
