let’s go down to the seaside and watch the ships ♥
-big wool blanket? check.
-big basket full of bread & berries? check.
-storybooks for reading aloud? check.
-cozy seaside cowl with lots of stripes? oh yes please!

this cowl is just like an inner tube ♥
it begins with a provisional cast-on.
then, a tube is knitted in the round
following the stripe sequence.
finally, the provisional cast-on
is removed and the 2 live edges
are seamed together using kitchener stitch.

Once it’s finished, you have a never-ending, no-edged,
magical, “inner tube-like” cowl with no seams or wrong sides. wear it any which way you like, there isn’t a bad side ♥
(especially at the seaside!)
oh that was a bad pun. sry.

cowl takes 4 colors of aran weight kid mohair
such as rowan kid classic.
pattern comes with written instructions
and a nice long stripey chart for
knitting at a glance ♥
