Shironuri Amigurumi Doll

A crochet doll pattern (abbreviated style pattern with key).

Written in UK terms
Pattern is copyright of Odessa Tilly 2015.

I would class this pattern as Intermediate. The doll parts are made from (uk) double crochet and treble crochet for the most part, but there’s a lot of parts that need sewing.

Gauge is unimportant - however the original pattern was created using DK acrylic yarn, and a 3mm hook - you can use any combination that results in tight stitches.

Size: The doll usually ends up somewhere between (approx) 14-18 inches tall.

Other Skills: Due to the amount of sewing involved, it will be useful to have some previous experience in sewing parts together.

What you will need;
Yarn: Colours required; Pink, white, purple, black, You should need no more than 100g of any colour, but this may vary depending on the yarn you use.
Crochet hook: Any size as long as it produces tight stitches to hold the stuffing. Pictured object was created using a 3mm and a 2.5mm hook.
Tapestry Needle (for sewing up)
Polyester Fibre filling for the stuffing.
Pins (optional, but helpful in holding pieces in place whilst sewing)
A Stitch marker (optional - for helping to keep count of stitches)
