This sock pattern is specially designed to work with self-striping yarns. It was designed to work with Twisted Fiber Art’s gently shaded stripes. It’s best with two-color stripes, but will work fine with others.

The pattern guides you through a pair of socks where the pattern stitch changes whenever the color does. There are even different patterns on the front and back of each sock - and the combinations are different for the two socks.
