Hi THERE!

She’s different from my other cats because this one is a sitting-on-her-haunches kitty.
Also - there is a new face shape.

She also possesses a hand-knit, Fairisle, sweater too (pattern & chart included)

Size-wise - she stands approx. 15 ins/ 38 cm tall - but if you’d like a larger cat then simply up your needle size by one or two and add another strand of the 4-ply to the combination of yarns I’ve listed in the pattern.

Like most of my patterns she is knitted using yarn held together, this is not obligatory as you can use whatever yarn you like, I just like to strand my yarns (using a mohair with a couple of 4-ply shades held together) to create multi-shades within the knitted ‘fur’.

The yarn choices I used for both cats are listed within the patterns so if you can’t find the Drops yarn then there is also an alternative (as per the more-creamier coloured cat).

Again, like most of my patterns, this kitty is knitted modularly - i.e. joining bits on with either pick-ups or cast-ons as you go.
You do, however, need to join the ears and the hind leg feet separately.

I often get asked where I buy my eyes (and you’ll need 18mm cat ones), these particular ones are from suncatchercrafteyes.com - although you can also buy from Etsy and Ebay.

And finally, stuffing-wise - she’s quite dense and weighty, which is what I wanted, so I chose un-carded stuffing. This can be found on most search engines - it’s also called Polyflock’ and ‘Polyester Balled Fibre Filling’.

I hope you enjoy knitting and sculpting her.
Please refer to the video if and when you require help making her up - and do refer also to the colour marker guide - you’ll find it invaluable.
