Sienne is designed for sweet Petite Suri from Le Chat qui tricote. The shawl has a triangular shape, and is worked from the tip to the edge with increases every two rows on the “textured” part then on the garter stitch part. One side has a cable pattern and eyelet stitches that gives rhythm to the knitting. The other side is knitted in garter stitch, both meditative and comforting. A few rows of moss stitch punctuate this elegant and cozy shawl.

• Le Chat qui tricote – Petite Suri 300 m/100 g – 2 skeins or 600 m / 660 yard of any sport weight yarn. Please keep in mind that yardage is an estimate.
• US 6 / 4 mm with a 80 cm / 32’’ cable.

Sienne a été imaginé pour la douce Petite Suri du Chat qui tricote. De forme triangulaire, ce châle se tricote de la pointe jusqu’à la bordure grâce à des augmentations tous les deux rangs sur la partie «texturée» puis sur la partie point mousse. Un côté présente un motif de torsades espacé par un point ajouré qui rythme le tricot. L’autre côté est tricoté au point mousse, à la fois méditatif et réconfortant. Quelques rangs au point de riz viennent ponctuer ce châle à la fois élégant et douillet.

20 mailles et 27 rangs au point ajouré et torsades pour un carré de 10 cm de côtés après blocage.
L’échantillon n’est pas crucial pour ce projet, mais il peut avoir une incidence sur la taille du projet et le métrage utilisé.

Laine & matériel

• Le Chat qui tricote – Petite suri 300 m pour 100g : 2 écheveaux. Modèle présenté dans le coloris Terre de Sienne. Attention, gardez à l’esprit que les métrages ne sont qu’une estimation.
• Aiguilles circulaires 4 mm (ou taille adaptée à votre échantillon) avec câble de 80 cm de longueur
• Anneaux marqueur, aiguille à torsades, aiguille à laine.
