A compilation of patterns to help you knit a variety of hats & fingerless gloves on the Standard Gauge machine. I used a Brother KH881 without a ribber.

Starting with a written pattern for my basic hats & fingerless gloves, which have a rolled edge, so no ribber is required, (but optional).

I have also included my patterns, in diagram form, for felted hats & fingerless gloves, plain & fairisle.
These are knitted in a mixture of shetland & lambswool yarns, so great for using up oddments & then felted in the washing machine.

6.12.2014 - edited the pattern to include the extra easy thumb with no shaping, but still comfortable!
