Sinclair ~ an all-season Sherpa styled jacket. Also featured on the cover page of my first book publication: Seasonal Hand Knitted Designs for 18” Dolls, Fall/Winter Volume now available.

Inspired by the trendy Sherpa jacket prompted this pattern; with basic stitch work along with an accent using a textured yarn achieves this popular look.
The pattern is suitable for the beginner, offering easy to read line-by-line written instructions including buttonhole placement

My Newsboy Cap is now included in the pattern for convenience in a complete trendy look

Designer’s Note:
Worked flat, back and forth in rows

Designed to fit:
American Girl Dolls, 18” Gotz Dolls like my model, Elisabeth

Experience Level:
Beginner - Easy: Project using basic stitches, repetitive stitch patterns, simple color changes, and simple shaping and finishing.

Materials:
190 – 200 yards of medium weight yarn #4 used for main color
12 yards (approx) of bulky textured yarn used for the sheepskin accents

Construction: Worked bottom up in one piece to armholes, then each section is worked individually

Lapel Construction Note: The lapel is created by using a textured yarn as used for welt where indicated * along with keeping the main color for body of jacket. Working in garter stitch, the lapel will be increased in width by one stitch increments.
