Sipalu Bag
This Fair Isle tote was inspired by brightly colored textiles from the Himalayas. Sipalu means “skilled or clever” in Nepalese, and this multicolored stranded design with an interesting construction lives up to its name. Each kit has an alternate chart, so you actually have enough yarn to knit two coordinating bags.
Kit includes eleven 50 gram balls of Palette along with the instructions for the Sipalu Bag.
You will need US 2 (3 mm) 16-32” circular needles and DPNs, US 3 (3.25 mm) DPNs, scrap yarn, yarn needle, stitch markers, fabric for lining, sewing thread to match yarn, sewing needle, and a large button.
Finished measurements: 10” wide x 12” high x 2” deep
