SIR PRANCE-A-LOT THE KNIGHT TOY KNITTING PATTERNS
Sir Prance-a-lot is always ready for action, rescuing damsels in distress and other daring deeds! You can knit up your own knight in shining (woolly) armour with this pattern.
THE PATTERN INCLUDES: Row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making the knight, sword and shield, 10 photos, a list of abbreviations and explanation of some techniques, a materials list and recommended yarns. The pattern is 5 pages and written in English.
TECHNIQUES: All pieces are knitted flat on straight knitting needles. You will need to cast on and off, knit, purl, work increases and decreases, change colours at the ends of a row (knit stripes) and sew seams.
YARN, NEEDLES AND NOTIONS INCLUDE:
- A pair of straight 3.75mm knitting needles (US 5)
- DK yarn (double knitting or light worsted weight); less than 30g in each colour
- A stitch holder
- Toy filling
