Pattern Description Traditional Norwegian design created by Dale of Norway’s own designers, Sirdal’s main motif was inspired by the intricate silver filigree worn as part of the National costume. Typical of this work are the elegant circles found in the main design motif. This cardigan’s special detailing include buttoned cuffs and contrast stripes on the underside of the front plackets and neckband.

This pattern is also in the 125th Anniversary Booklet, knit in a heavier sport/dk weight yarn. That version of the pattern also includes children’s sizes 2 to 12 years, baby sizes 6 to 24 months, and adult sizes.
