This is a pattern that combines a light-weight knitted body with a voluminous crocheted fin (includes instructions for knitting fin if you don’t crochet). It includes instructions for knitting 4 different sizes.

This is an original pattern which has been used for knitting several blankets and it’s a pattern for personal use.

FINISHED DIMENSIONS

  • FULL: 150 cm body +30 cm fin, 65 cm wide.
  • ADULT: 105 cm body +30 cm fin, 56 cm wide.
  • TODDLER-CHILD: 75 cm body +30 cm fin, 50 cm wide.
  • BABY: 50 cm body +25 cm fin, 44 cm wide.

YARN
I used 2 strands of sportweight yarn held together – brand: Madame Tricote Paris Star (100 g - 300 m per ball) in matching colors and for each size needed:

BABY SIZE: 1 balls of each color (150 g of yarn).

  • TODDLER-CHILD SIZE: 2 balls of each color (250 g of yarn).
  • ADULT SIZE: 2 balls of each color (320 g of yarn).
  • FULL SIZE: 3 balls of each color (600 g of yarn).
