When a cover-up is needed for blustery spring weather, this poncho is the perfect solution. It’s worked in two identical rectangles that feature a diamond gansey stitch texture and are seamed together at the shoulders. A ribbed knitted-on hem is worked in the round. Arm and neck openings are finished with narrow reverse stockinette stitch bands. Ashfield’s merino-bamboo blend gives it a comfortable balance between warmth and breathability, with beautiful drape. The Gansey pattern is charted and written out.
