This bony but cuddly guy requires much less sewing than you
would think—just some seams. All the pieces are strung like
beads on strong fishing line, not sewn together. This
construction is sturdy and easy to do and allows for maximum
movement in all of the joints. Each piece is crocheted in a
continuous spiral—no joining rounds or turning. Use of linked
double crochet stitches makes the fabric a little different
from single crochet amigurumi fabric. All of the yarn ends are
simply hidden inside, so no need to weave them in.
