The Skelly Chimp is a cheeky little chap sitting 6 inches high.
He is one of those toys that is a great conversation piece, great for Halloween or anyone who is into ‘wackiness’ :o)

He is knitted from a straightforward, no frills, simple to follow pattern which has many photos to help you along the way. There are no complicated stitches or shaping so I class this pattern as suitable for a confident beginner.

He is knitted flat on 3mm needles throughout using small amounts of any DK yarn.

Materials needed
DK yarns in the following colours
Dark brown – less than 25 grams
White – less than 10 grams
Baby pink – less than 10 grams
Bright yellow – less than 10 grams
Scrap of green for banana – although you could omit this or use a green crayon or coloured pencil over the yellow yarn.(a tip from tester who did this to great effect)

Pair of straight 3mm needles used throughout

Scrap of back felt for eyes and nose
Clear multipurpose glue
Fiberfill
12 inch chenille stick (optional)

Abbreviations used
K = knit
p = purl
