A Skinny Rib Pullover is a beautiful, comfortable and popular sweater choice for children.
It moulds to the body, without being stifling, looks stylish and will grow with the child, lasting a few years in each size.
That is good news, considering, kids often make these their favorite sweater.
The pattern comes in five sizes:

4-6 years, 6-8 years, 8-10 years, 10-12 years, 12-14 years
To fit chests of approx. 23, 25, 27, 29, 31” or 60, 65, 70, 75, 80 cm

It is knit in DK yarn, and worked flat, apart from the neckband, which is either knit in the round, or flat if desired.

There are two different neck styles included, a round neck, and a polo neck, for added warmth.
This pattern is suitable for both boys and girls.

Knit in any colour your children like, or introduce some stripes, the possibilities are endless!

I found this to be a quick and easy project, which was a lot of fun.

Materials: DK wool yarn, for example Patons Merino Extrafine DK

For round neck version, approx. 250 ( 300, 350, 400, 450)g For a polo neck version, add 50 g extra. Amounts may vary, depending on your yarn choice; if in doubt get an extra ball.
