Sometimes there is no need for many words to explain where an inspiration comes from, you just need to look and not only see what we have before our eyes.

The beautiful colors were made by the italian indie dyer VALENTINA FERRARINI of OFFICINA DEL COLORE NATURALE.

SKY is a slightly asymmetrical triangular shaped shawl with garter sections, lace sections and striped sections used in the passage from one color to another.

The shawl is adjustable, that is you can make it bigger or smaller symply by doing more or less repetitions of the sections.

SIZE AFTER BLOCKING: 160 cm lenght
70 cm wide
GAUGE AFTER BLOCKING:
30 stitches × 38 rows = 10 × 10 cm/ 4” × 4” in stockinette stitch.

TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION:
The construction of the shawl starts from the tip, with 3 stitches, and gradually grows up to the opposide side.

SELVEDGE STITCH:
I used a chain selvedge, passing the first stitch as to make a knit stitch but without working it and purl the last stitch.

INCREASES:
The increases are always made on the right side of the work before the selvedge stitch, it increases with kfb.
