I suggest making these with Amazing Yarn by Lion Brand, as that is what the pattern was originally written for. However, other medium worsted weights don’t seem to work up the same. If using a different worsted weight yarn, I suggest using a K hook and a G hook instead of the recommended hooks that the pattern calls for.

You will not use the total 2 skeins of Amazing Yarn ( and the yardage is an estimate). I recommend 2 skeins so that the colors come out as close to each other as possible.
