These lacy faux-cable mitts have off-set thumb gussets and ribbed palms for a perfect fit and coordinate with the hats and cowls in the Smokestack Collection. The easy-to-memorize lace pattern flows from a ribbed cuff and knits up quickly – no cable needle required! Lace instructions are both written and charted. Worked seamlessly in the round from the cuff up.

MATERIALS
Approximately 105 yds/96 m (110 yds/100 m) of Worsted weight yarn. Samples are knit in madelinetosh Tosh DK (Esoteric) and Patons Classic Wool Worsted (Teal)

GAUGE
22 sts/28 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stocking stitch using larger needles

NEEDLES
3.5 mm/US 4 for ribbing and 4.0 mm/US 6 for main fabric, or size required to obtain gauge.
DPNs or 32”/80 cm circular for Magic Loop method
