Finished size: Women’s small; 6.5” around palm, 7.75” length including trim

FIber: About 2 ounces of wool roving and/or fleece and 0.5 ounce of camel/silk top

Yarn: Two-ply, handspun yarns in wool. Most of the wool yarns are a double knitting sportweight yarn at 1000-1300 yards per pound and about 14 wraps per inch. The 3-ply camel/silk yarn is finer and measures 19 wraps per inch and 1975 yards per pound.

Gauge: 6 sts and 8 rows = 1” in stockinette. “Simple Vertical Stripes” pattern draws in naturally and has a gauge of 8 sts and 8 rows = 1” using the same size needle as for stockinette.

Needles: Set of four US size 3 double-pointed needles or size to give gauge in stockinette. Set of four US size 1 double-pointed needles for hem and picot I-cord bind-off.

Hook: Size F crochet hook
