Exploring some challenges for 2025 and designing a piece in lace is a great start for New Year. A spark of inspiration came from a dishcloth knit and allowed my creative mind take to explore the lace.

The Snowflake Scarf is knit flat with lace sections on either ends of the piece with adjusted length of stockinet with garter stich border. To give the design an interesting flare, there’s a keyhole affect which allows the piece to stay secure around the neck when wearing under a warm coat or jacket.

Before the winter season is officially over, a beautiful lace scarf is perfect for those early mornings and late nights to stay warm.
The pattern consists of written and chart instructions with video tutorials of stitches to assist with the lace sections, etc.
