This pattern is a tutorial for sock knitting from the cuff down and uses the heel flap/turned heel technique. It is designed to modify the sock to fit your gauge and needles.

Any weight yarn can be used on any size needle. She has a chart with how much yarn you need of each weight to make 2 socks. Remember, the larger the yarn the less yardage that will be needed. As for the gauge of the sock you cast on 10-20 stitches to find the gauge at which you are knitting. Then check your gauge against her chart to find the number of stitches to cast on to start the sock.

The Sock Class Pattern is from "A Good Yarn" yarn shop in Baltimore, MD.

The pattern is free with their sock classes.
