Learning to Knit when I was 5..My first project was a pair of socks because my feet were always cold. I knit my way thru the usual doll clothes, hats and scarves, After High School I became a nun and knit mittens and shawls and shrugs. then I became a Hippie and knit diaper covers, sweaters, and dolls.
When I moved onto a boat I knit sweaters for cold weather sailing mostly up north in Maine, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland..that was glorious!
When I landed in Baltimore I took a hiatus from knitting and quilted a lot…
but only for a short time….I opened the yarn shop and ran full tilt into knitting and designing using all my experience from many years of just creating what I needed with needles and yarn…I love to swatch, I love to create from that little piece of fabric that is my thought….waxing poetic here…please enjoy my designs…..lg
