Either with the glow of summer or of winter, enjoy this Solstice as our earth pauses at the extreme of its orbit.

Place all 8 Solstice Glow patterns in your cart and use code pre-book. The full set is $29.99 (previously purchased items apply).

This is a pattern for a knitted stocking for decorations or to hold small gifts. It is worked in the round from the cuff down and using the Fair-Isle knitting technique. In addition, Duplicate st and basic embroidery are used to add tails, manes, etc..
There are 4 animal stocking motifs and 6 small motifs to choose from. The animals are pigs, horse, chickens, and geese.

Stitches are cast on and the cuff is worked, then your chosen animal chart and chosen small motif chart before the heel is turned with short rows. Then the foot is worked (continuing small motif) and finally the star-shaped toe. An i-cord loop for hanging is worked attached and your stocking is ready to hang!

Please note, there are floats over 6 sts. If you are expecting heavy use or small sharp gifts, these may catch. You may wish to catch floats every 3 sts, knit a sock lining, or use fabric to make a lining.
