Sonorous is my yarnie interpretation of sound waves. Waves of feather and fan lace warp the fabric of plain garter, swelling out from a single starting point to a grand finale of glorious lacy edging. (Yes, I took some artistic license with that. Forgive me, physicists!)

The boomerang shape sits well on the shoulders, and the alternating plain and lacy sections are an opportunity to have some fun with your yarn choices. Try out that crazy speckled or variegated skein you’ve been eyeing in the garter sections, and a coordinating semi solid for the lace. Or not. I promise the knitting police won’t be called if you choose two semi solids, or two speckles!
