The main body of the dress is worked in Broken rib to give an airy texture. The front and back sections are worked from bottom up and decreased at the sides to give a slightly A-line shape. The multi-striped raglan sleeves are worked in St st stripes and have a fluted effect which is created by decreases. The colours in the stripes are picked up on the ice cream as sprinkles that are added to the ice cream once the front section is complete. A 5cm opening is left at back left raglan to ensure an easy fit over your child’s head. This is fastened by a single flat button.
