A wee speck of bright, on a solid coloured hat! Just the thing, for a wee speck of a newborn.

This free pattern is written for 10ply/Worsted weight yarn, and to fit a newborn babe, approximately 3-4kg (7-9lb) in weight, with an head circumference of 35cm.

Construction
This hat is constructed from the brim upwards, and is knit in the round. It features very basic stranded colourwork, that will work well with a solid main colour, and solid, semisolid, or variegated contrast colour.

10ply/worsted weight yarn (190m/100g)
1/3 skein main colour, plus up to 5m contrast colour
