I’m a big lover of variegated yarn, but sometimes it can be challenging to use it for members of your entire family.
This pattern finds a way to highlight the beautiful colour changes in variegated yarn, by teaming it with a more neutral solid colour.

Speckles is the comprehensive version of the free Speck pattern

This close fit beanie is constructed from the brim upwards, and is knit in the round.
It features very basic stranded colourwork, that will work well with a solid main colour, and solid, semisolid, or variegated contrast colour.

Skills Required
knitting small circumferences in the round
simple stranded colourwork
If you are not familiar with these techniques you may need to reference a knitting guide book, or view videos on the internet.

Please see the information sheet in the photos materials/tools required :)

You can purchase Speckles on it’s own, or in the Sprinkled eBook. The Sprinkled eBook is great value…..it contains 3 multiple yarn weight, multiple sized patterns at a discounted amount. The remaining 2 patterns in the eBook will be released by October 2014
