Fans of my Modern Blanket of Flowers know that I love self-striping yarn. When self-striping yarn is crocheted in rounds and joined at the end of each round, an unattractive jog can develop, so this motif is worked as a spiral without joins to interrupt the color flow. The subtle spiral in a hexagon is fast and easy to crochet.

You will quickly become addicted to the rhythmic flow and the fun of watching the colors develop in each little hexagon. An easy slip stitch join completes your work.

Pattern for half-hexagon, chart, and photo-tutorial included. New: Pattern included for similar pattern: Hexaround Quartets

You can use any weight of self-striping yarn, or even a solid with a round of contrasting color; can’t go wrong - I really think this is the easiest and most fun-to-crochet hexagon ever! Fast and versatile!

Round by Round Photos and Chart included. Pattern support on my Ravelry Board and FB group, Crochet-A-Long with JulieAnny.
