I was making some hats for charity when my daughter asked if she could have one of these hats. I decided to go ahead and write up the pattern as I was making them. They have quite a bit of stretch and will fit my 5 year-old and me.

The pattern is written in US terminology and utilizes post stitches to mimic knit ribbing. The top features a spiral with post stitches highlighting the sections. The hat is completely reversible if the final ends are woven carefully. The inside pattern looks like concentric circles. My daughter calls it her two-in-one hat!
