Spring Feverish 1 is a cute retro-look mini-kerchief, knit in simple lace. This kerchief is a relatively quick project that also happens to be surprisingly wearable and appealing.

You’ll need:
- just 80 yards of a sport- or heavy-fingering weight yarn
-one 5/8”-6/8” button
-a circular needle (24” or your preference) in the size needed to reach the listed gauge. (US8/5.0mm is a good starting point for most knitters, but tight knitters will need larger needles; loose knitters will need smaller needles. Gauge is important. Please be sure to check your gauge.)
-stitch markers
-tapestry needle

(I’ve knit this in lighter sock weight, but it’s a little too delicate at this gauge. The current main sample shown is knit from a sportweight handspun at a gauge of 14 sts and 22 rows in 4”/10cm..)

Wear your finished project as a neckerchief, or a cute vintage-look headscarf, with easy-to-knit lace details and textured garter stitch.
