Squishville socks are for padding around the house in winter. They are knit cuff down in sport weight yarn and the heel and sole stitches have a strand of mohair/silk lace weight yarn as a carry-along (hat tip to Cat Bordhiโ€™s Cushy Footbed socks). You will not need a full ball of mohair lace yarn, leftovers will work nicely.

There is a hemmed top and a simple 2x2 rib pattern with a grafted toe. You can use a 3-needle bind off if you prefer, but Knitty has excellent grafting instructions. Best of all, you donโ€™t need to weave in all the mohair ends as they will felt in place as you wear the socks.

This pattern is not for commercial use.
